Objective

Develop a partner (employee) and customer-facing U.S. campaign that makes civic engagement fun, relevant, accessible and civic (non-partisan). This campaign’s focus will be on the 2020 Election, but messaging and visuals should feel evergreen and we should be able to leverage for future civic engagement campaigns and elections.

Key Message

Together, we have the power to strengthen our communities through our voices and our votes.

  • Think: Using my vote and my voice really can make a difference.

  • Feel: Thankful to Starbucks for helping make civic engagement easier and more inclusive.

  • Do: Register to vote, get informed, volunteer at the polls and put together a plan to vote.

Solution

A digital-forward campaign that provides Starbucks customers and employees with resources and important steps to take before voting. Our non-partisan approach to this work emphasizes the importance of voting and civic engagement while staying true to the Starbucks brand.
